Energy technologies

Drilling and production technology

Our unique challenge consists of deploying technologies and methods to safely develop a wide range of resources both onshore and offshore in diverse locations around the world.

Industry leaders

Leading one of the most technologically advanced industries in the world

ExxonMobil takes a disciplined approach to project execution. Experienced personnel apply established project management systems that enable complex projects to be completed safely and on time. Our execution excellence is built on a solid, experience-based foundation that’s embedded in every project management and safety system.

Technology helps meet demand

Extended-reach and high-impact drilling and completion technologies

Advances in technology play a critical role in meeting the global energy demand. They enable the discovery of new resources, access to harsh or remote locations, and the development of challenging reservoirs that previously were not economic to produce.

Environmental performance

Reducing the environmental impact of our drilling initiatives

ExxonMobil’s policy is to conduct business in a manner that is compatible with the balanced environmental and economic needs of the communities in which it operates.

How we ensure safety

Operations Integrity Management System

ExxonMobil’s OIMS Framework establishes common worldwide expectations for addressing risks inherent in our business. The term Operations Integrity (OI) is used by ExxonMobil to address all aspects of its business that can impact personnel and process safety, security, health, and environmental performance.
